Pardew says its a bad knock and we might need to sign someone else off the back of it. Hopes its not as bad as we fear. Get well soon Raylor, we need your free kicks!

Our senior squad has just got smaller with the unfortunate injury to Ryan. Lets just hope the muppets don't just bury their heads in the sands and pretend it didn't happen. Will we see any new faces, I personally doubt it.

    Think it's a necessity now.

Let's hope so, think he may have left it too late. Supporting Newcastle on deadline day is horrible.

It takes something to put Raylor out of the game, he doesn't give up easily but that looked like a really bad injury to me. I hope it wasn't as bad as it looked and he'll be back soon because he'll be a big miss.

I was gutted to see Raylor get injured. First thought was 21-10-12 hope he's back.

Knee injuries can take quite a while to clear up, not heard how bad it is yet though.

Hope he won't be out too long with quite a heavy fixture list ahead of us.

Not likely you'll get a new LB in to replace Ryan Taylor though is it, considering your only notable summer signing can slot in that position comfortably. Few points on your game last night, 1. Marveaux (sp) looks lively, decent and quick - much like Lennon but probably has a bit more quality about his final ball, although he had an opportunity to play Ba in and didn't take it. 2. Vuckic despite scoring, that was a terrible performance all round, he's nowhere near ready to make the cut. 3. Why didn't Obertan ever play well for us? 4. Good luck in Europe, I hope you get some decent group fixtures!

Looked really nasty, and he seemed to know it himself by the way he was calling for the trainers before he hit the ground.
For me it just goes to show how things can change in a split second. Really hope its not too serious.
Pardew's comments about looking to bring someone in and claiming he would go talk to the Chairman sound really desperate and somewhat naive. Why should it take the tragic injury to Ryan to prompt him to do what we should have done already.
Hate the fact that we could be scratching around on deadline day yet again! I for one don't see why we should be thanking Ashley for "not cashing in when the phones rang" holy crap, be thankful he did not sell all our assets,, leaves me speechless frankly.
All this will be just about tolerable, so long as no one hits the exit door.
But just don't trust Ashley, and Pardew will have no say or control over what happens next.
