I think its confidence Ron....its a psychological challenge this....i was too today... that is relieved...done a few quid the other day with an 8pt loss on APPRAISE....but sticking with what i know works up pops a good winner today...and when i was running through the analysis the previous evening i was actually hoping it would be a no bet day after the previous result....funny how it grinds you down then springs you back!
York 15.40 Sri Putra £100ew at 66/1 (freely available) York 15.05 Main Sequence £400 win at 9/4 (BV and SJ)
Well, if all these lose I'm in the proverbial with just £2,600 left to play with. Fingers crossed. Have to back them if I fancy them and they are all decent prices.
A very bleak day today with all bar £500 of £4k profit from Rosdhu Queen completely blown. Betting Bank down to £2,700 Piggy Bank remains at £4,000
Kempton 20.20. Very tempted by 2/1 for Mizwaaj but hasn't run for 2 months and, if Lutine Bell gets a decent start, could be up against it. Will leave it as my bank is not too healthy.

In your old experiment, when you were 10K up, your bets were struck with the confidence of a man on top of his game. Now you float out bets you are tempted by without actually placing them, and are relieved to have had a lucky escape. Fascinating and to me confirms that (at least for most people) success or failure with betting conditions your next bets
