As I have been away I haven't heard much City news, Just wondering if owt has been said about our chances of hanging onto the lad or did that idea get totally ruled out ?

No news on that front. A lot of the posters on here would like him to be our first choice, whether by buying or another loan, and NP seems to like the lad, but no approach is reported to have been made to Arsenal as of yet!

I think the best we can expect for next season is a season long loan with first refusal if Arsenal decide to sell.

 

I reckon the Allams will allow NP to bid a couple of million for him, he's obviously a target as he came back and took Duke's place straight off..

Season long loan ala Joe Hart at Birmingham would be the best option for both Clubs I reckon.

Seems he's now got a bit of a shoulder injury and like one or two others have said , hope the lad isn't injury prone.
