It was a terrible pass to be honest. Gerrard should have taken another touch, drawn the defender then rolled in Suarez/Morgan but his pass was overhit and too wide.
Decent half, retained the possession pretty well without much cutting edge, as the game goes on Hearts will have to come at us more and we'll probably grab a few goals. I mentioned on another thread that perhaps BR fancied Morgan to make the step up, on this showing he isn't ready (yet). Although he does have decent movement I just think another year or so and maybe he can make the step up, his attitude is certainly right so that's a good start.
Hasn't had the impact or composure of Raheem, but I would like to see him down the middle, not wide right!
What is Didi on about on ESPN? Liverpool have been sloppy in posession and not created many chances? Suarez header cleared off the line, Gerrard going through and shot saved, Morgan scoring but being dissalowed. We've created 3 good chances and we've kept the ball well.
Same! It seems as if Rodgers fancys Suarez to be the front striker this season, I would of liked to see Borini down the middle but he also got pushed wide. I guess a lot could change tomorrow we'll just have to wait and see
