I disagree. I see Moutinho as the best replacement for Modric that we can hope for. Dembele can do a job from deep too, alongside Sandro for example, but I see him as someone who can cover both AM and CM positions. Nothing wrong with having two that can do the creative CM thing. Modric being the only solid option in that position messed us up last season imho. My order of preference / priority... Moutinho - Modric replacement Llorente / Damiao- NEW STRIKER!!!! (I think we need three senior strikers. I don't buy this 'Kane will step up' business.) Lloris - Friedal replacement Willian - Bale Lennon & AM cover (No cover for Lennon killed us last season.) Remy - Defoe replacement Lennon Cover (Defoe has just signed a new deal. Plus we still have GDS in the squad to cover Lennon, he may get a chance.) Just my opinion. ....I have a feeling that VDV would like to move sooner or later anyway, so I see Levy cashing in now whilst he can.
Llorente's being linked with Liverpool today. I can't see him signing for either of us, to be honest. Excellent player though, with only a year left on his deal.

If you get Remy then you have done very well.. I heard we were linked with him previously so I did some computer scouting on the lad and he is a very good player.. Very technical and very dangerous in front of goal... Best of luck to you in getting him.. (I'm guessing you will sign him on deadline day just to be slightly more dramatic).
