well it looks like being an amazing summer of signings way beyond my expectations. lost two good players fetched in 8 (inc hernandez) and ime spent roughly 16.5 million so we have not even spent all the liverpool money (check them notes hugh). so the money for scotty is an added bonus dont know how much,the last i heard it was 8 million cant see that but if its anywhere near true then my hat comes off to mr jenkins what a business man what a chairman. edit. please be free to correct any mathmatical errors.

Ash - most do appreciate what the mods do, and if anything you are too kind to the 'select few'. Most decent posters here would be quite happy if the mods took a decision (if necessary by PMing each other if necessary on the trickier ones) and stuck to it. Too much self-interest, self-publicising 'look-at-me' types around here. I was over it a long time ago. By the way, I agree there were too many similar threads, bit only two were mine, so you seem to be exaggerating or have a faulty memory. Main thing you kept saying was not to do with the threads but the fact that they were speculation. I know you have a difficult job and you do it pretty well, but you are also very inconsistent at times. Plenty of duplicate threads that no mods care about. I was singled out because I mentioned the unmentionable - that Rodgers was leaving. If I'd said Sousa was leaving you'd probably have given me a medal. LOL.

Casual, I have no problem with you, nor your threads. At the time, there was 5 threads, not all yours, and I dealt with them all the same way, by merging into one. Your making out I only did it to you, when I didn't. The problem was the speculation, hence the number of threads. It could have been kept simpler by putting your opinions on the existing thread. Maybe I am a little inconsistent at times. I put that down to only being able to get online for 10 minutes at a time, 3 times a day up until 6PM. I have to read through the threads in a short time, and have to take action if any is needed. If it came across as having an issue with you, I apologize. It was not like that.

Ash- we must not forget that we all agreed to draw the line under everything, i asked Kj to move on and you also did the same..no reply says it all. He is now bitching about the "comedy classics thread" and saying its pathetic..which IMO is uncalled for and invokes the forums rules RE insulting behaviour, i think you have been fair minded as far as im concerned but i feel he is free to make snide comments and derail at his own free will and has been doing so for ages, its why i tend not to post articles anymore. He never accepted he was wrong or apologised to me when accusing me of having multiple accounts,instead deciding to reason that i must be using NASA technology to get around your checks.. its all very sad, but there is only one guy not moving on here, KJ is holding on so tight he is strangling the forum, im more or less done with it,others are too or have left . You know i enjoy the forum and all its posters and you also know i respect your MODing and that of Dilli and Mabon, but when you have a poster that likes to score personal points and put in sly digs whenever he can it kinda gets a bit tired. slagging off the "cardiff comedy classics" thread is the only way he can get a rise and continue the bitching as he knows i always monitor my own content. My advice is to delete the "comedy classics thread " as it seems far too upsetting for KJ to see it being popular
