What a surprise. Cue lots of shouting from Liverpool fans about net spend and how it was impossible for them to spend that much whilst being raped by the Yanks...

The only really surprising thing on that list is that City haven't overtaken Chelsea yet. A couple of years ago City looked likely to blow right past you and never look back, but since Torres and Luiz came in I think Chelsea have spent more than twice as much as City.

 

What is flabagasting is how bad the Duppers' squad is after all that spending.

We've spent a lot in 2011 and 2012. Maybe most in Europe with the exception of PSG??

United and City spent a lot too, but mainly quality. Chelsea and Pool most wasteful with cash

What is incredible is how much the scousers have spent in their effort to be among the top clubs (I agree with the OP) and despite this how their squad is the most sh!t, with no CL football for the past 2 seasons. With that kind of massive expenditure they should have been guaranteed top 4. Was it KKK who squandered all this money?

Some dutch nobody £5 million.

Not even close Kagawa was £12 mill, its about £44 mill for the 4 of them and Henriquez is still to be confirmed and that still wont come to £50 mill

I dont know any United fans who call Liverpool players childish names. The only one United fans had another name for was Stevie Me but its not really the same.

 

All great signings. I would be delighted if Chelsea had signed any of them.
