Great move for him, and another one off the wage bill. Best moment - leaving Savage for dead to score the winner v Derby a couple of seasons back.

Wasn't it Bessone that put in the cross for Pratley to score the winner in the 3-2 demolition of the bloobs?

Yea always had liking for Bessone...Not the strongest defensively, but great going forward....I think he was one of the fastest in the squad.
Will always remember his rugby tackle though! that was very funny.
    Yea good goal against Derby.
Maybe he should have been a wing.

I see the EP is reporting this and the Orlandi move as a done deal.

I'd like to wish Besson the very best on his move out of the Liberty, he had a couple of excellent seasons for us, particularly when Painter got injured, he also did well under Sousa, very good going forward, and wish him every success at Swindon, I'm sure he'll succeed under PAOLO Di Canio, Besson's only mistake was going to Leeds!.................... <ok>

One of my faves too, valley. I seem to recall that Savage had to comment on it on the Football League Show too. Talk about rubbing salt in the wound. <laugh>

We all like to sock it to Sav. Tell you what, though, I quite like his punditry and, to be fair to the guy, he's more than happy for people to have a laugh at his expense.

"Bessone's only mistake was going to Leeds".

Several years ago, during my African adventure,a Nigerian friend told me a little story about his father, back in Lagos.

The family, being staunch Catholics, were completely stunned when the old man announced one day that he was converting to Islam.
He was treated like a pariah by the family until, about two years later, he announced that he was returning to the Catholic fold.
There was much joy within the family at the news.

After a short while my friend asked his father why he had converted to Islam, and then returned to his original beliefs.

"I had to go into the darkness to find the light",came back the reply.

So,perhaps Bessone came back into the light. :emoticon-0100-smile ...

Wish him all the best and will do well in league 1. That for me is about the level where he can perform well every week. Should never have been brought back. talk about a panic move for us.

One moment i remember was his rugby takle on Routledge against cardiff. in front of the west stand. No doubt Routledge has reminded him of how he gave him a roasting since he has been back. Mind you the way Routladge is playing he will roast better full backs.

    Anyway good luck.

You're right, TLF it was definitely a panic move for us and we shouldn't have done it. Will be a very good player in L1.

I've spent a fair few nights out with fede through a mutual friend, top lad (totally bonkers) hope it all goes well for him, he deserves to be playing regularly. Although that means my link to nights out with the players has gone! Haha

Again, another player who's always done what's asked of him. No complaining, no moaning. Good luck to Fede. <applause>
