    Just wanted to repeat NC's comment in Telegraph yesterday, 'Buying Southampton was never a financial transaction.' He goes on to say that the Leihberrs' support is ongoing and that the plan was to achieve something great for the club and the city. Just made me happy and wanted to share.<ok>

    the more I hear from NC the more I admire him and ML ofr what they have done, and intend to complete!

    Yes, it's great and confirms just how lucky we are.
    Mind you, Pompey were acquired a few times recently, in what proved to be "not financial transactions", but for more literal reasons!<laugh>

    Just went to Telegraph football and entered Nicola Cortese on search. I found it because some Bournemouth WUM drew my attention to it by criticising NC for big-headedness...thanks.
