THIRTY FOUR QUID TO GET INTO THEIR GROUND (according to FootballGroundGuides.com) Hope to god there's a student discount; and there's very late running trains otherwise this has priced me out of a game I really wanted to get to!
That is very good value to see such a huge illustrious club and one of the giants of English football. Have you seen the ticket prices at old trafford? This is a very good price and one I will be making an effort to seize advantage of. Not
I'm a Leeds Met student; by god you will see me at Bellend Road supporting the best team in Yorkshire; and that team is Hull City. £34 or not... but this price is astronomical. No wonder only 1/5 of your ground is ever full!
"I'm a Leeds Met student; by god you will see me at Bellend Road supporting the best team in Yorkshire; and that team is Hull City. £34 or not... but this price is astronomical. No wonder only 1/5 of your ground is ever full!" Exactly. Its £36 where I sit which is a ****ing joke. I only paid £470 for the same area in the Prem days. 24000 does look **** compared to what we used to get, but at those prices you can understand why. And just for the record it would appear Sheffield Weds are the best team in Yorkshire....
To be honest, I found £12 to get in for Rotherham bad enough. Clearly I've been spoilt by the usual 16-22 price range.
It's about time that football clubs started charging the away supporters the least price for home fans as opposed to the highest price for home games, accompanied children should be free or charged very little. The sixteen to twenty two group should pay no more than half. It would be good if our club did this. Maybe then others would follow suit. Football is killing itself with greed and has been for a while.
Not really. Why anyone bothers to waste there hard earned cash @ Bellend Road is beyond me. More money than sense. If I miss one City game a season then TWS away is the one. Tough call.
Sadly this is very true. The PL clubs even say now that they dont need the cash from the fans due to the large TV cash. Maybe a few empty grounds for a while would change matters. But i doubt it.
I'm sure that at Leeds, once you turn 16 then you're an adult. So kids who've only just finished their GCSEs, and are still living at home with their parents, have to pay £34 Nice to see the Leeds fan mention our 'piss-poor' away following. Elland Road isn't exactly a big draw anymore, especially on a Tuesday night.
Of course Elland Road is a big draw, it's the scene of many of the greatest moments of English football, like when Leeds united finished bottom of he championship and were relegated to league one.
Ah, yes, I remember. I doubt we'll ever see a pitch invasion at Elland Road as good as the one they had against Ipswich though. There's been nothing like it since Rui Marques left.
That's just beautiful. Fair brought a tear to my eye. We're lucky to be near, and get to play such legends of the game as the Mighty Leeds.
