    Doesn't matter who we get in this week, we are a million miles away from van der vaart, end of! Spurs want £14m for him, and he'd want big wages and champions league football.....

    Van de vaart is a world class player....who belongs in a top 4 club hands down and playing Champions League.....we may have got Ceasar, but Van da Vaart is a little wide of the mark yet.

    Im shocked that AVB wants rid.....Spurs are going to have a horrid season.

    Seems pretty injury prone as he is getting older can see him playing a maximum of 20 games a season.

    They are getting rid of him and Defoe, 2 29 year olds and replacing them with a 23 and 25 yo. Good business.

    Unfortunately we are the only club that would go in for these 2. good players on a free but not worth a fee.

    VDV is a great player, the fans love him but if the club recieve a big money bid for a player nearing 30 then they will sell, plus I'm not sure how AVB see's his role in the team as he lacks pace and I get the impression AVB wants to sign Mountinho so we have sold Modric, about to buy Dembele and if we sold VDV then AVB could buy Mountinho.
