Erikson said he feared that Gerrard will not be able to lift the premiership trophy as long as he stays with the scousers. Talk about saying the bleeding obvious. The scousers are now talking top 6 never mind the title and a shot at the title is unlikely to happen for the scousers with Gerrard in their first team. Any guess when the scousers could lift the title (for the first time)? Posters should limit themselves to this century .
I love how they all talk about a Liverpool recovery, how it will take 2-3 years, and Liverpool fans now expect to be back in the top 4 and in the title race in that time. Rofl, that's only if they can pull it off.
Typical Plastic fan. We love football, we like titles. Getting there is what its all about not holding the trophy. He's got FA LC CS CL SC a great career playing something he loves and millions of fans and gets well paid for it. Am sure he's crying into his wallet as you typed that OP you sad sack of **** P.S. Should he throw a strop and leave, is that what he should do Fistian?
I knew BBFool will bite, of all the ******ed scousers. hahaha Nevertheless he still does not answer the question. Despite all his league cups, the charity shields etc etc, he has NOT (repeat NOT) got a premiership title to his name. That is the most valued trophy as it means your team is the best in the country that season....
Gotta have some respect for Gerrard - he could've jumped ship any number of times to Chelsea or City for double and even triple wages and a team that would actually match his level of quality. He's voluntarily stayed at a team that, in his heart of hearts, he must know has no realistic chance of winning the PL before he retires. Tho it is of course debatable how much his decision to stay was motivated by love of LFC, or love of his family and fear of leaving them in Liverpool gangsterland to be summarily executed after he left...
You do have to have some sympathy for him. If he wasn't with this bunch of losers, he would have had a premiership title. Or at least close to getting one.
You dont need to respect him at all for that. At Liverpool he was a big fish in an almost fully drained lake. It used to be massive but now its barely a puddle and has been for 20 years. At Chelsea he would be just a fish, he wouldnt like that, he would look average Some players suit certain clubs, Gerrard wouldnt of worked at Chelsea because him and fat **** never worked for england and Lampard is far more of a Chelsea man than Gerrard.
He would have had to play second fiddle to lamps like Ballack. And SG was not particularly good technically, so foreign clubs like Barca, AC and Arsenal were never interested in him. So he was stuck at Pool
Gerrard knows the meaning of loyalty. Wayne ''I've got pubes on my head'' Rooney can't spell loyalty let alone know what it means.
Loyalty? Fear of execution more like. The scousers had threatened his family, hs friends if he ever left for the Chavs. He was basically held hostage.

"I feel as if I've made the right decision and as I said, I'm not proud of the week I've been through. It's been difficult and very confusing. "And I wouldn't wish being in my shoes on any other person. But it's all behind me and I'd like to forget about it."
Why would he be scared of "gangsters" from Liverpool, barely any exist and the ones that do are complete ****ing ****houses, ****ing laughable bin robbing ****s
A-la-Rooney and the hoody ensemble of SAF's appointed goons outside his house when he dared to think about leaving Old Tragic.
