george boyd and 'charlie' taylor are good players though. when talent becomes available it shouldn't be sniffed at (pardon the pun) in my opinion, though blatantly you require some defensive strengthening too. both those players will improve your team

They are good players supers, but where do you fit them in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it wouldn't be so bad if we were linked (even from a terrible source) to some defenders, apparently somebody put on Football Rumours linking us to a centre half and they took it down because it was so absurd!

take your point guru, but i guess they are better than what you already have and therefore add both competition and depth. talking of rumours, we've been linked to the love of your life...

The whole squad needs reinforcing and I definately am not going to complain about getting players in regardless of their positions. The defence sounded poor last night but we should have been 4 up at the break so you cant excuse Chopra and Co either. JETs a lazy ****e, Chopra for me is not good enough (and has never reached his pre Town level of play) Carson doesnt score goals and for all Martins fancy play, he doesnt look like finding the target on a regular basis.

Portmanpaul - I doubt there were many from Suffolk, from chatting to people at away games there are a lot of exiled Town fans up here.

Jewell, "We need height in the team"! Taylor 5"7 striker.....

pssst we've just been bummed 6v0. Maybe a centre back and a right back might help you ****ing thick ****?

Talk about deja vu, I can't believe this is happening again and why the **** is ME and or Clegg letting it happen!!!!!!!!!! <grr>

I would like to take training tomorrow. Not that I could teach them anything, just to be able to look the players in the eye. Either they're being coached/instructed badly, they're not good enough or their heart is not in it.....

I wonder what Marco Holster is doing these days!

On the Peterboro bid, I wouldn't get too excited just yet as apparently Peterboro have accepted multiple bids. This suggests that other seemingly more ambitious clubs have also slapped in offers and with Captain Cock-up's record of signing players I shant be holding my breath!

thinking about our need for height, Can anyone who went last night give an idea on how good the two Carlisle youngsters were. The radio made them sound like they had great potential and one of them was 6ft 4 at least. Remember we only signed Walters after a great display against us in a cup game a few years back.

Brenner and Alex Mathie were waxing lyrical about them on the commentory!

Alex Mathie was pretty scathing about us the whole of the second half when we began to sit back and invited Carlisle onto us! Even the mild mannered Brenner was getting pretty hot under the collar towards the end! <ok>

I listened to it as well - was just wondering if anybody who went could give their views as to whether the commentary views were shared by others.
I found it funny when Mathie was slagging off JET about never doing anything and Brenner was trying to stay neutral!

they sounded very good on Radio Suffolk reports but Im beginning to think even the blind school could outplay us so it probably wont help give a fair reflection on their team.

Supers, I really don't know that much about the competition in League One. It's not on my radar. They did alright. I would agree with what I've read about Mathie's thoughts, sounds like a bang on assessment of the game. Its hard to know whether it was our poor defence or their quality forwards but they looked more dangerous than us around the box after the first half. That's not saying much though.

I like Loach so far but our defence is going to cost us.
