Signed 3 more loan players.. This will have to work otherwise fans will walk away as I've heard many feeling unconnected with the club and squad as it is.
I think we need to stop chucking the word 'loan' about so much. It's very different from the loan signings we have had in the past where the parent club could normally recall them when they wanted to. The signings we have got from the Pozzos are more like 1 year contracts but with less risk. Some of these signings may be here 2 or 3 years. At least the ones who dont cut it aren't left on our books for years like the days of Ellington and Sadler. Also, even with all these players coming in, Zola hasn't chucked on a different starting XI, there are a lot of players still from last year. Let's give GZ and the owners a chance to see what happens, we are only 3 games into the season!
Also let us not forget that the players coming in are still being payed for by the parent club (as far as I am awear) meaning we are keeping out wage bill down and not getting into dangerous amounts of debt. Maybe some of us with short term memories need to think about where we would be if Bassini was still in charge.
A terrible piece of reporting that - "We understand Watfordâs commercial director Raj Athwal and head of marketing Leigh Brooks have been told they will be made redundant by the club's new chief executive Scott Duxbury." followed by "Watford refused to confirm, or comment on, whether Athwal and Brooks had been made redundant. The club also wouldnât comment on whether the pair will be replaced by direct replacements or if there will be further redundancies in the near future." So, redundant or not redundant? And if they have been made redundant, the club can't then turn around and 'replace them by direct replacements'. If they do try that, then I'm sure that court is where this will all end.

If we want, then he will be a Watford player, not Udinese. Not too sure how much that really matters...... but I suppose it does a little.
More sigings http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9893545.Bia_signing_confirmed_and_three_more_may_follow/?ref=eb
"It has also been reported by Football Italia that Watford are set to sign Gabriele Angella, Fernando Forestieri and Neuton on loan from Udinese. " We have previously been linked with the first two - but Neuton is Brazilian and would surely need a work permit, for which he doesn't appear to have the required 'pedigree'.
Poor DJ in the comments section on that report is getting a right pasting for posting what I think are legitimate concerns. Appears that most on there do not care how success comes if it does at all.
Another new signing http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...hone_to_become_Watford_s_11th_summer_signing/ And one of our new players stepping to the national team of Tékkland http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp....UPDATED__Vydra_receives_first_Czech_call_up/
I'm sure he is...I could be quite wrong but it sounds like a carefully phrased statement dictated by a lawyer rather than anything deeply felt.
