For Fifa 11 players

    I know there are a lot of fifa players on here and I have a question for you all.

    When you play a player in a different position to his preferred one his rating will often go down, is this because the player does not want to play there so his rating goes down, or is it because the rating for that position is worked out on different quality e.g. if you play a winger in centre mid they may not use acceleration as much for the rating, but may include strength more?

    Hope that makes sense :p

    I don't know mate. I sometimes play players out of position and their ratings go up?

    Doesn't really make much of a difference for me mate <ok>

    I really want to play ozil in the middle but his rating goes down by about 5 :O

    It's cause it's not their position, they'll still have the same stats.

    Im trying to fit Vargas in this team

    Forster
    Simpson, Subotic, Colo, Jose
    Me, Barton, Tiote, Albrighton
    Hiquain, Pavel

    Dont want to drop Barton or Tiote tried 4-5-1 but just doesnt suit me

    I'm ruthless and dropped Tiote ages ago on mine :(
    Infact, the only NUFC players still in my starting 11 are Colo and Ben Arfa...

    was it Jose Angel Valdes? Maybe. He's awful on fifa though I think
    Taiwo's decent though

    And a tip for CB's, I cannot recommend Samba enough. Solid at the back, fantastic at corners, wins the ball 9 times out of 10, scores regularly for me. At least 6 or 7 goals a season.

    Think it's to do with their attributes suiting the position, you'll find some players rating goes up when put out of their preferred position.

    They have the same stats playing out of position, it's just different positions have different defining attributes (Such as sprint speed/acceleration/crossing for wingers)

    It's to represent that playing a right back in central midfield, he wouldn't be as effective/efficient as a player to whom that is a natural position.

    Not to say it wouldn't work
