Its going to be a whole new experience for Sess this season as he is no longer the only outlet for the creative/flair of the team. AJ showed glimpses of the trickery to come last night and once he is fully up to speed and match-fit, its going to be a joy to see him and Sess together with all their finery on show. I think that our midfield will be very fluid this season and last night we saw the switching between wings, Larsson in the middle (looked better than he did against Arsenal but then Morecambe are not Arsenal) and the power and goal threat of Jimmy. Fletcher looked a bit leg weary in the end and considering he has had no pre season its hardly surprising but once he too is up to speed we have a nice balanced look top the middle and up front.

Can Sess handle not being the only darling on the pitch for the fans? I genuinely hope so because he now has some freedom to express his talents and just enjoy his game and that can only be good for us long term.

from what ive heard, commentators for last nights game were saying that Sess was always looking for AJ, and AJ was looking for Sess. And that Sess had a massive grin on his face for the match. Most teams knew that Sess was our creative outlet. Stifle him, and we wouldn't be able to do to much. Now with AJ (and McClean) and possibly another creative midfielder, Sess is going to be able to move about without being constantly closed down.

I personally think we are going to see a better Sess this year... one much more potent in creating chances, as that's what he does best. He's not striker... hes the crafty little bastard that creates the goals for them.

I certainly hope Sess can handle it - that attacking 3 from the midfield of Sessegnon, Johnson and McClean looks terrifying for defences!!

Sess looked quite happy last night to me as he was playing with a smile on his face but I was 30 yards away from the pitch so may be wrong!!

I can see him having a great season and really enjoying his football. When you're playing with quality players around you, it's got to make you happy

Very impressive stuff from McClean, Sess and Johnson, all can take on a player and score, Fletcher did well to link up play at times, but obviously looked off the pace, this is understandable and im still adamant that he will be terrific this season, Saha did well when he came on too

    very exciting times going forward.

Last season we had players doubling up on him and McLean, so with the addition of AJ it should improve there game. Technically its like getting 3 New players

Be good if he was though!! Although the lads behind me last season were asking for him to be sold or injured!

I think he could become a real dangerman for us (even more than he is now) and he will relish the freedom that our 2 wide men will provide and the onus of being the main focal point up front that Fletcher will provide.

I reckon Sess will LOVE playing with players of a higher quality, his nose won't be out of joint at all.

Sess will remain my favourite player at the club, Johnson is a fantastic, skilful winger, but Sess just does some CRAZY things.

I ca't remember the game but I recall Sess beating a man, getting flattened, keeping his foot on the ball, popping back up, skinning him, and off again, he's just crazy to watch I love him.

I literally am bursting to get home for the Liverpool game and see all these lads together in the same team!

He, Johnson & AJ, if they can get on the same wavelength, is as threatening as anything in the league.
