He's much more like Rafa than Lennon - attacking midfielder who can also play out wide, not an out and out winger.
That's a lot for for a 29 year old, in fact it's much more than they sold him to Real for. I still want us to keep him though, they're all going to need nametags on the training ground if we keep buying and selling.

Different to lennon but can play out wide on both sides. Clever and skilful. Worth 18 mill.... Dunno. We need someone who can play on the right who can cross though. It's a very weak part of lennons game which doesn't appear to be getting much better. Gotta have 2 very dangerous wide men who can deliver, for this formation to work. (IMO)
I'm a big VDV fan. But, if true, £16mil is a superb bid. If I was Levy, I'd bite their hand off at that price!..
