Well neither SSL or ZW deserve to take Liam Moores place. Konch will start as there is no one else. Midfield Marshall, Drinkwater, King and Dyer will get the shirts. But who deserves to start alongside Jamie Vardy? Nugent has been crap, Beckford just as bad and probably wont be our player come saturday, Futacs didnt cover himself in glory despite a good goal. Schlupp looked the best out the lot Waggy simply pathetic
I am totally with leicester_ed here. Stability is key, it has been said before, but look at Reading last season. If they had sacked BM after losing 2-1 at home to Barnsley, or not winning any of their opening 3 home games, they might not be where they are now. Chill out people, I am still optimistic we can do something this season, just keep the faith
St ledger got another chance despite throwing his toys out the pram - seems we'll never find out about Mills but the fact is Np has dropped a major bollock regarding central defenders
SSL just moaned. Something major clearly happen with Mills, talk of a headbutt was there? Whatever it was, it was bad.
Its not just stability, we havent been bad!! Look, if we start losing home games we have a problem. Bottom line is we are unbeaten in the league at home, given 2 very good performances away from home and our reserves lost. Its totally ridiculous.
I don't think that Pearson should get the boot, but he needs another Charlton/Blackburn performance on Saturday with point(s) at the end to prove it. im glad our "blip" was in the cup, but im not too optimistic if any of the starting 11 get injured for 1 month+ as the backup isn't all that good. On the Waggy front, hes a good player when we play a big man up front, great in the Howard era when Fryatt got injured, but now Pearson only uses Futacs sparingly (as we seem to be a passing team now, not a target man team), theres no point in keeping Waggy.
Good lord! In March this year (just 6 months ago) you were telling all us Norwich fans that NP was better than PL as a manager! How can he have become so "poor" or "unpopular" so quickly?
.. he won't go for this in isolation ...but Saturday's game, when we will be exposed to the scrutiny of a much wider audience, is now looking like a highly significant event in his managerial career ...
Should we turn Blackpool over then everything will be rosy again Remember Micky's saying. Keep the faith
I am not making it up AKCJ, just before our FA Cup meeting last season a number of your guys were telling us how good NP was and neither PL or BR was not a patch on him - I have no need to make it up, it happened on this board and ours When it was suggest PL was a better manager - Proud Fox responded with Nigel was the first manager to lead a team out at the new Wembley, he has been a FA coach for a long time. He kept Southampton up when they looked dead and buried. We had never played in the 3rd divison in our history and with Nigel we walked the league and the next season we finished 5th. With Newcastle and West Brom walking the league. In the play offs we was 2 nil down and in Cardiff we fought back to 3-3 and then lost on Penos. Then at Hull has was given a car crash off a squad and he has sorted them out and look at the team they have now and where they are in the league. He has come back here sorted out no end of problems and got the team playing and results and slowly starting to come Plus he made Jermaine Beckford run around Next you be trying to tell me Lambert is better then O'Neill Now it appears that all he has done that was this great counts for little as the pressure mounts on him to deliver the expectations not only of the board (whatever they are) and the fans, who perhaps expect more than the board.
I think NP is one of the best english managers. Transforms clubs and instils the correct ethos. I think the man is great.
