I know we are playing at the same time, but our friends over at Udinese are playing their champions league fixture over on ITV2. Might be interesting to see how they play

I was wondering ... was Roy Brown our first black player and was Luther the next one?

Not quite - in 1898 we had two brothers, John and Eddie Cother, who both went by the nickname of 'Darkie'.

I remember Roy Brown very well. A great header of the ball.

I do not remember the Cother brothers before anyone asks.;)

On one of my shortest sporting trips of all time, I went to Sainsbury's earlier to see the Paralympic torch. Shame that it had to be in the silly hours, especially given that we are the biggest place in Britain not to have seen the Olympic torch, but glad I was there all the same. Very good turnout all things considered.

Morning all, bright and sunny outside with no sign of rain still. :( Mme and grand daughters went and dug potatoes up for me yesterday and said that the ground was like concrete.

From the reading I have done it did not seem that Beleck created a good impression last night. One opinion was that he made Big Chris seem speedy. ;)

Góðan daginn öll. Cappuccino, coffee, tea donuts and fruit are on the bar. I have a bad morning. Two meetings, one is normal but the other is of small value.

Not that well from what I saw of the later stages of the game...beaten on penalties in the end.

Another sodden morning down here. At least they picked the only decent day for a while to have the ODI at the Ageas Bowl yesterday.

Hi there. I am back early from Budapest. It's a lovely city, but I wasn't feeling like my usual self when I'm on holiday, so I came home early. When I say home, I'm actually at my Mum's house in Watford before returning to Jersey on Sunday as scheduled.

Afternoon all from a very wet bandit country after a bumpy but straightforward flight back overnight. Now got to try and stay awake for the rest of the day and try and get the body clock back on Uk time. Had a great holiday and will probably be the last ever with the full W_Y brood in attendance. Was interesting to be in Florida at the same time as the GOP conference and hurricane Issac putting in a small appearance. Not had a chance to look at the reports from last nights game yet, so will do so this afternoon.
Back to corporate madness tomorrow! <yikes>

Morning all, just been stabbed by Mme Lebon and had a chat with her about the poor coverage that is being given here to the paralympics. Not sure if this link will work but I will try it out. Dealing with loads of people that have a disability she is really cross that an opportunity to show what can be done is being ignored.

We have a clean blue sky and 7C.

KA have four matches left and must win all to have a good chance of promotion, the first is against Þróttur Reykjavíl tomorrow and they are two seats and one point above KA.
