However City fans are calling for money + Defoe as Dawson's fitness is in doubt, thus allowing Pulis to bring in his own choice to replace Shawcross at the heart of their defence
There is no way on earth that Defoe will be leaving Spurs, hes the ONLY forward they have. There is no way that Pulis is thick enough to even consider selling Shawcross. Its all rumours surely. I think this is pie in the sky to be honest.
If Ryan goes to Spurs I will personally SHOOT Tony Pulis, the fans would be after his head no doubts. UNLESS, we get Defoe AND Dawson who is a more than capable re-placement.. I HOPE this is just paper talk.

Just to clarify (before you shoot me Potts) I dont want Shawx to be sold! However, if we got big money or big players in return it would make sense for both club and player.
Its not just Shawcross though, its the understanding that Shawcross and Huth have when they play together that we will lose too. Money cant buy that!!!.
Ric Let's face it.. IF BIG money is offered Ryan will leave IMO and your right Smither's for all the right reasons.. but It won't happen will it. Would hate to see Huth/Shawcross partnership broken and I just can not see Defoe coming here anyway.
