    I trained at Leon Mackenzie's (played for Norwich and Crystal Palace-had a bit of a fall from grace since then...) father's boxing gym for a while. And my god daughter's grandmother is friends with Nyron Nosworthy's mother. Tenuous. When I was about eleven, I was in a lift with Emmanuel Petit at Heathrow Airport. I was terrified, until my dad leaned over to me and whispered very, very loudly: "That's Emmanuel Fu##ing Petit, lad!" Smooth.

    I've trained MMA with Florent Malouda on a few occassions. Got to punch him in the face which was nice.

    I've met Darren Peacock before. I also know John Bostock's cousin and a kid I know used to go to school with Drogba's and Malouda's children.

    Had a surf with Lee Dixon. He's got a house in Marazion and used to surf at my beach, before he joined MOTD. Used to chat with him about his dodgy knees and what it was like to play with Thierry Henry. Nice guy, not at all up himself like a lot of modern footballers <ok>

    I used to live on the same road as Mickey ( to you youngsters looking at this i'm not talking about the MT who played for us but the one who played for Wrexham,Chelsea,Everton,Man Utd etc etc)

    me and my dad did some work on gary linekers mum and dads house a good few years back, they still have his old bedroom set up with trophies and everything else

    Cym you forgot to mention that he played for Stoke too :)
    He still writes for our local paper Mickey and can often be seen in and around Stoke!
