My lot are playing an innovative 1-4-3 formation. Riise and Hibbert (just signed him yesterday) both absent, and both of my reserve defenders involved in the postponed Sunderland vs Reading match. All I need now is for Mancini to leave Zaballeta out. I've got Rooney as well, who only came on as a sub and then got injured. I might join you in that wildcard.

Peytons Golden Gloves got top points in his first game after joining late, 66 so far....so watch out for the dark horse. Sounds like Rooney is going to be out a few weeks, so I'll probably swap him. I'll soon be back to my normal low scores. Once the teams in the Champions League start rotating their players, then you can't figure out who will be rested for the league game.
I got hosed last weekend... three of my midfielders got zero points. One had his game rained out, one (sinclair) was kept on the bench and Nani was apparently being punished. Terrible point haul for me. My wife asks, "There's no money in this right?" "No," I said. "Then what's the point?" "It's fun," I said. "If it's so much fun, why are you complaining about your team?" Good point.
Beginners luck for Peyton this week. Remember folks its a marathon not a sprint. LOL. Any more cliches out there?
I had four players pick up injuries, two rained off and two starting from the bench. Consequently I've spent the whole weekend weighing up whether or not to play my wildcard. Still haven't decided! Mrs Captain always says that if she ever does a team, she'll call it 'It's only a game'.
