No turner, no bellers, no Kim. 1st game with a 1 day in centre half. Uncharacteristic error from Gunnar to gift possession for the first goal. We struggled with our system at the start of last season, with earnie and miller not really working. It was disguised by a couple of decent results including the easy win over BC but a quality Brighton side showed us up. Mm got it right after that until we ran out of bodies and fresh legs. We'll be top 6 minimum as Swamp says. Enjoy your deserved win banksy but to write us off as bottom end is beyond ridiculous. Let's see how we get on in our next 2 home games.

in the same way that if swansea keep playing like that they'll finish in the top 2. its not been a good start to the season by any means......even our win vs huddersfield was laboured and due to a last minute scrambled goal. but theres no need to get all doom and gloom, we'll be up there in may.
You did to be fair and if you keep scoring 4 a match you'll win the division with a record points tally. It's a marathon not a sprint, Reading were **** until January last year.
Just saw the high lights (or low lights in our case) posted above. Have to agree with Banksy that our defence was poor, the only comfort being it was Connolly's first game and a lack of understanding with Hudson was evident from the clip. It also looked like McNuggs had a mare - becoming a bit of a recurring feature. Just when we've gone and sold Darcy. Anyway, no need to panic yet Mr. Mainwaring, early days yet.
Its not early day though is it ? Look at the last 10 games last year and now this load of old ****e this year. I pay my season tickets to be entertained not to be bored witless, get back to 4-4-2 soon or we are Tommy Tucked before the season gets going, perhaps i will be proven wrong after 5 or 6 games, i hope i am, but i never have liked MM's tactics, we dont get into the box enough and we certainly create very few chances. It is dire and it needs to get better.
i hope the style improves when bellamy and kimbo can play vs wolves... i agree we dont attack the box enough but it seems to be malkys style to be conservative and only play with 1 up front..
That's the problem in a nutshell. And to get out of this division you need to win games, not have tactics set up to draw and then pray for a miracle.
Guys we can't be faulted for passion and being concerned but of course its too early to pass radical judgement after only 3 games. I agree there are some warning signs but it is up to MM to address these. If we are no better after 10 games then that is a different picture. By the way, I am not advocating we become Swansea mark 2 but haven't they played with 1 up front for several years and they haven't done too badly have they?
we stated last season 442 and started no better than this year. Against blackpool we went 451 and went on a run of games that put us in the top 2. We then ran out of steam / got found out. Is 442 better than 451? Don't know it's that simple. I believe we have a stronger squad this time round and once the team settles we'll push on again.
And with a huge slice of humble pie, Swansea are better than us, they have better ball players and have the staff to stick the ball in the Onion bag, we have Bellers and Mason who could do this, and in my opinion Bellers should be playing through the middle, he is wasted on the wing as he never gets the ball.
BfB! It's fine playing with one up front as long as you have the pace on either wing to supply the front man, who's not the biggest of guy. HH also needs more help from central midfield. We play far too narrow.
ITIWRAN No argument there mate. I hope we will see something like that with Bellers and Kimbo taking wide roles and also being effective inside.
I guess it's a bit of comfort knowing most teams who get promoted start badly. Sunderland were aweful at the start and then went on to get the record points tally (102?).
