If i was one of the training staff i would break Joey Barton at this training session for those comments. He would be pleading for the training session to end. He should then be put on a plane and made to face the real Taliban with such flippant comments!
Sounds as if there's financial wrangling going on between QPR and Marseilles and Joey's the filling in the sandwich. If so, the deal may yet happen
I wonder if Barton's past has put paid to an opportunity abroad. the US don't take ex jailbirds so why should the French.
? Possible links....OM are skint and need to sell. We go for M'bia, but this leaves them short in CM. so we offer them Barton, who is attractive because he seems cheap as we pay his wages. But Barton's latest Twatter crap gives us the grounds to cancel his contract (ie sack him) anyway, so we say to OM, we are not going to pay all, or even some of his wages, and they can't afford to. Plausible? I have no idea... But begs the question surely Barton has breached the 'new' agreement made with the club after the FA ban with his comments on the club and Hughes. How long til sack is announced.....???
