Don't have a problem with Guly(playing wise) but what a twat for doing this. A member of my family was killed by drunk selfish twat driving a car, so I have no time for them. Anyone know how much he was over?

Imo all alcohol should be banned if you are going to drive.

Ah yes, the trademark Mr Nice sneidy, sarcastic, and superior comments. What a nice break we had from those while you were banned.

That wasn't sarcastic or superior at all? It was my genuine thought. This post has done nothing to change that.

I hope the justice system runs it's course and if guilty he is made an example of by the court and given the maximum possible sentence. The club should also make him do some more charity work and send him on an alcohol awareness course. Reading some comments on here the message obviously hasn't gotten through. Drink driving is wrong. It's the equivalent of pointing a gun in a random direction and firing.

I don't know, but if it happened now, then yes there would be the same reaction. This is not personal.

All drink drivers are the same selfish idiots that don't care who they could hurt. If it was any other Saints player I would think the same

I don't even remember that, if you could provide a link to support your statement that would be most kind <ok>.

Nobody is on here saying they want him out. We're just saying it's inexcusable and stupid.

We have to thank Hampshires finest for preventing a possibly more serious incident, I was a bit puzzled about the dragging him away in handcuffs bit, seemed a bit OTT but I guess it is procedure in these circumstances, sounds like he was well sozzled. If that is the case the people with him should have shown some responsibility.

I don't understand why you're persisting with the Beattie line. You asked "did people feel the same re Beattie", the answer is yes. Much as I'd feel the same if it was Lallana, Lambert or even Gaston Rodriguez. Nobody is saying chuck him out the club, but everyone is saying twat.
