Why do I need hard statistical evidence? Are you really trying to disagree that being slightly over the limit is less common than being massively over the limit? If so, why are you trying to disagree with that?!
I don't have any comment to make on whether he should be sacked, I'll wait for the judge's verdict before I form an opinion on that (or indeed on whether Guly himself is actually guilty). But I see no distinction between being a little bit or a lot over the limit. Both carry the same sentence, and both are idiotic acts.
He is lucky that he got pulled over by the police before anything horrendous happened. Driving back home at 4am after a night out in the town does affect people's reaction time whilst driving add the factor of alcohol into it and you're putting yourself into trouble.
Fair enough, that's your view. It's my view that the law as a whole should evolve to take moral blameworthiness far more into account than it does, which is where the difference lies.
He should be released for crimes to football.......... We have all made stupid mistakes , I take it all on here who are completely over reacting with this self righteous indignation wanted Beattie out ?
It's not an over reaction. This is a serious issue that people should understand by now.Don't drink and drive.
I am one of the most law abiding person you can meet, but even I can see the difference between someone who has a reading just over the limit and someone who has gone out and had several drinks over the limit. One can be the result of drinking on an empty stomach and the other is knowingly drink/driving. However, I am shocked that someone thinks 2 or 3 pints OVER the limit is acceptable.
I agree with that, but to me that means that even a minor careless driving offence should be punished the same as if you had killed someone Sorry Fran, but drinking on an empty stomach is knowingly drink driving.
Hmm, good call... Jaidi would win everything, obviously, if only they could find a melon big enough. Anything can be taken to extremes
Yeah it is true, I was there. Him, Chaplow, De Ridder and Hooiveld are always out together. Seen quite a few players do things they shouldn't be doing, but I'm not going to spill any beans.
The next time you start berating people for making a perfectly reasonable "assumption based on probability" without hard evidence, people will remember this thread.
I don't really remember encountering you but it seems like I've disagreed with something stupid you've said before and you still hold a grudge about that.
