From SS transfer clockwatch Internacional vice-president Luciano Davi has claimed Leandro Damiao will not be joining Tottenham this summer. Spurs bid for the 23-year-old striker did not match the Brazilian club's valuation for the player. by Adam Bate That's that then -what now?
Oi!! Make believe?! I'll have u know that my sources are HP, Heinz and twitter!! Perryman - 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42
Lloris has always been our preferred target although we have been keeping a close eye on Cesar. Not sure about Gomes leaving today, but I think David Button will be moving on, probably to Charlton in a permanent deal.
god knows. it could be an attempt to get 1 last bid out of us whilst there's still time? Fernando Llorente is blatantly heading for Juve, so I don't really know what we're left with. - comes back to my earlier comment where I hope we don't spend 10-15mill on someone who's going to end up being like for like, such as Remy.
here's what the fans think on who wearemost likely to see at WHL. http://www1.skysports.com/transfer-centre/clockwatch this link just came up on twitter as i refreshed the page. clicked through only to be the first person to vote, but now more people are voting. it give you an idea of who the fans think. currently 17% think we'll have Kaka!!
Benfica president Pinto da Costa has warned Manchester City that they will have to meet the £24million release clause if they want to sign Spain international midfielder Javi Garcia. The Premier League champions are believed to have scouted the former Real Madrid man at the weekend. Wow some high class reporting there .
M'Vila as a replacement for Jenas & the injured Parker makes much more sense than M'Vila as a replacement for Modric, I guess, though it would suggest an unprecedented degree of turnover in the squad, especially "mid"-season
''Jenas still has two years to run on his Spurs contract after the club exercised their option to extend it by another 12 months in March.'' What is this madness!!!!!
to ensure we can get money for him and that it doesn't go into his final year. but, we're not going to get money for him anyway, so it was pretty pointless!! we'll probably have to pay someone to take him!!
Was that a Freudian slip, Roo - or just admitting your powers of prediction are limited??? Anyway, the 'Chatter' sources that picked Ade's signing last week (to within the hour) are suggesting Willan and Lloris are virtually done and that Damiao is still likely. Personally think that would be a fantastic trio - but would be much happier with Dembele than Willan. He could really make a difference for us I think.
Loris I so hope gets done, then it's a mid and a striker to go. Have no particular favourites as long as the striker can play the lone striker role.
Reports everywhere suggesting its off, but it could just be an attempt to get more money out of us right at the death. Fingers crossed on that one. That is the sign of ambition this season, bearing in mind the financial powers we're up against, IMO.
