What the hell? I looked at my quoted text and his and it's still the same?

    "Vertonghen never mentioned Arsenal."

Spanish weather not good on you?

Sahin didn't want to go to Spurs, he would rather rot on the Real bench. <ok>

And instead decided to move to a mid table club and play with players such as Horrenderson, Downing, Adam, Carroll, Johnson and Allen <ok>

Who knows, maybe he is a fan of shell suits :D:laugh::laugh:

Congrats on signing a player on loan that there's no suggestion we were ever in for. We signed the permanent deal over you so enjoy a good, young prospect for a year before you have to give him back to the big boys <ok>

He wanted to join a club with Champions League football - then he joined one without it.

AVB was said to have preferred Moutinho over Sahin anyway.

At least he walks into their midfield though. Plus Liverpool are a genuinely big club and still have a high profile throughout Europe, and obviously Rodgers and Mourinho are good friends and that clearly helped. Sahin just wants to get his career back on track, Arsenal would have been the better option as they have CL but obviously they pulled out of the race for him

Nope. I wanted him to go, but I'd have preferred the deal to have been done sooner, so that a replacement or two could've been brought in.
I'm sure that everyone's aware of my hatred for starting two holding midfield players, so I'd like to see two creative midfielders brought in, unless Huddlestone stays.

Are you going to substantiate your claim that I edited PNP's quote, then?

Congratulations on becoming a feeder club too. Can't your club ever come up with anything original?

If Spurs don't get a new forward and a new creative-midfielder in, they're ****ed.

That was 99 years ago, surely you would have gotten over it by now?

You asked if we could ever come up with anything original. We clearly have.
Your club's idea of originality seems to be that monstrosity of an away shirt that you have as an avatar.
I'll just agree with one of your mods and leave it at that:

Personally think this whole partnership with Madrid is a farce to be honest.

I know no details have been announced so my point is based purely on guess work but I'm guessing this "deal" with them will see the following:

First choice on their cast offs.

    A friendly next pre-season.

They get 1st preference on any of our players - basically becomming their feeder team.

Bale has been mentioned as a RM target before, so it really wouldn't surprise me if Madrid has made this partnership to sweeten up their relationship with us and come next summer, will hope they can snare Bale for a mediocre price with some cast offs/ loans coming in our direction - which no doubt we'll accept because we're such good friends with them.

Personally think this is all a f*cking joke. Levy rejects a £40m bid from Chelsea 12 months ago and declares Luka is not for sale, only for him to sell him at a reduced price the following year to Madrid because we're now in a "partnership". I'm glad Luka went abroad and not to a rival but if the fee of £32m as some media suggest, we've been royally f*cked over. This is a player who I rate in the top 5 in the world in his position, £32m for a player in his prime and who had 4 years left on a current deal is an absolute snip for Madrid. Perez is probably p*ssing himself at the moment while sharing a glass of champagne with Mourinho and Modric.

You didn't use the quote in it's entirety, you "selectively edited" it.
