Yep papers twist his words.. It was a fancy fund raiser, doesnt he earn enough to domate, fkn millionire ffs. Nope, the fact he kept anything is fkn greed, you fkbags trying to explain that away, ****ebags
This is funny. If it was Dalglish, the people defending Fergie would be acting like the people lambasting him now. Since it's Fergie, the people who would defend Dalglish to the death for doing the same thing are doing the opposite. This whole petty debate encapsulates the idea of the partisan football supporter.
Your ex ****ebag of a manager held out for a £6 Million payout for LFC to get rid of him, money your club at the time could ill afford, but because he donated a tiny fraction of the amount to the JFT 96 campaign he was portrayed as a hero for it. It`s no wonder apart from a quick stint at Milan he has not bothered working since, LFC set him up for life. Lfc fans think they have a place in "the waiter`s" heart,........his wallet more like.
He got paid the remainder of his contract(nothing unusual there), he chose to to continue living on Merseyside, he chose to donate to the JFT96/Hillsborough Families campaigns. He could have chosen to take his money, sell his home here and not donate anything. But going by your conspiracy theory he shouldn't have taken what he was entitled to and shouldn't have donated and based on that we should hate him.
Don't quite light the angry mob torches and move away from behind the wheel of the outrage bus, unless you are his accountant you don't know what he has donated to charity. From speaking to someone who does a lot of work for Help for Heroes it appears that unfortunately a lot of celebrities do charge fees (not just expenses). A lot of them see it as they are increasing the attraction of the event and so increases the overall revenue. I don’t agree with it, but I’m not going to lambast someone when I don’t know the whole detail. For instance he may have used that money for an alternate charity (not saying he did).

These muppets are trying to make a charitable man look greedy, they can all easily type Alex Ferguson charity work into google. They just don't want to easier to ignore silly posts like
This. Pretty sure Dalglish had a testimonial when he was at Liverpool? If so, it's 99% certain that some of the money went to charity and some went right in his back pocket. As with any other footballer, manager and probably every celebrity who has ever had a testimonial or benefit gig. Didn't Bob Geldof get paid £100,000 for some of his anti-poverty speeches? Only when it's his own money. When it's Liverpool's cash he's like Frank Lampard in a pie shop
LOL. He bankrupted Celtic and Newcastle too with his out of control spending. The senile old fool should not have been trusted with ROman's Torres kitty.
