Its rather funny to see these people quick to write us off especially with our rivals not looking any better than us. the only thing you can hold against us is for 12 minutes in the community shield final we were outclassed but these people all seem to over look the fact that we were leading up until the sending off . to tell the truth im glad that people are writing our chances off it will make even sweeter if we do win the league .

team Mouser on MOTD were saying not long ago that Torres was finishedd now our title chances rest on his shoulders and his fitness. Hansen and that tit Lawro are just full of hot air and bullsh1t make it up as they go along except for the Mousers they are world class every week.

You get used to it as a Chelsea fan. who cares what those past it twats think anyway? We are slowly improving, slowly integrating our new players and style ( in Hazards case. Quickly )
Give us another 5 or 6 games and we will see where we are in the order of things. Until then , any criticism is total garbage and should be seen as the comedy it is.

Yes, they are total twats on MOTD - has beens who are way over paid.

Last night MUFC got 18 minutes coverage and we got less than 10 - how's that? Premiership leaders and European Champions; doesn't seem right.

Did you see that prat Lawro last week when they were talking about Gaston Ramires possibly going to Southampton Lawro nearly choked on his own tung the guy is full of bitterness . I always laugh listening him talk about England like he didnt chose to play for The Republic of Ireland then had the cheek to turn around and say Arteta shouldnt play for England because he isnt English bit hypocritical him being Irish and all .

For many years the media has been a North-West love in, that hasn't changed. If Liverpool or another Northern club had achieved what we had over the last 10 years and had the same group of players we have know they wouldn't dare write us off.

What annoys me with MOTD is their opinions are based on bias and contempt/bitterness rather than pragmatism. This is why I believe G.Nev is the best pundit closely followed by Lee Dixon.

To say the current FA Cup Holders and European Champions as well as winners of the league 3 times in the last 7/8 years have "no chance" of even contending for the title just smacks of disrespect towards Chelsea Football Club. But it wouldn't be the first and won't be the last time.

When Liverpool won the CL in 2005 even with their awful squad I remember all pundits and media declaring them genuine title contenders despite having an even worse squad (if possible) than they did the precious season with all the others bar Arsenal strengthening significantly

I must admit I found it strange too and I hate the differing amounts of coverage they give teams after the game, as well as the ordering being based on which clubs played first and then whether the game was entertaining. Then again they're not always negative about Chelsea, everytime Torres has scored since he moved to you guys Hansen or Lawros been asked whether he's back to his best and they've answered "yes, he'll score for fun now", which was usually followed by him not scoring.

We must watch two different MOTD's. Every time they turn to Lawro and Hansen its usually followed up by a bitter dig at Torres because he left Liverpool for us. They seemed to really enjoy him struggling over the last 18 months

So 3 wins by a +2 difference in all of them isn't convincing? Okay then..

Remind me how you got on against Newcastle last year? Wigan and newly promoted teams at home.

You'd rather be in our position than yours.

The only poor refereeing decisions were the refusal to award Torres a penalty at Wigan and his booking for a "dive" yesterday which should have resulted in Newcastle going down to 10 men.

Liverpool today benefitted from scandalous refereeing v City, but that's become the norm at grounds like Old Trafford and Anfield

Did you even watch yesterdays game? Newcastle hardly troubled us and it was a convincing victory.

It was the most comfortable of the 3 by far. These idiots watch MOTD's skewed highlights and somehow believe the commentators when they say Ba and Cisse missed all these "chances". It was about as ineffective as I've seen Newcastle and a lot of credit has to go to us for that

completely agree there were large parts of the game were Newcastle barely touched the ball bare in mind this is a new system for us with new player who need time to grow into it well if this is our unconvincing our convincing must be amazing as this is the best team we have had since the 2010 double winning side / even our supposed bad side last season ended up winning the FA Cup and the CL with our bad manager and his poor tactics .

Not saying the penalties were dodgy or anything before I get shouted down.....

Lets say you didnt get any, do you think any of the games go differently as they were all early penalties?

    Who knows.

But if you start games off on the front foot like we did in all 3 games there's always a chance you'll be rewarded

    True.

While I am not convinced by Chelsea just yet ( I am not by United so far either btw ) you have a player who has the ability to put you right up there for the title in Hazard. If he maintains the level hes playing at all season which is easier said than done ( Silva last season was brilliant to begin with remember ) you will challenge.

How do you feel about Torres? Do you still think another top class striker is needed or is he starting to show the goods?
