It's a pity that Google Translate was stumped by that. Chav-speak is obviously not in the database. I can't see Lambert going to Blackburn as he's a key player for Saints and, as he has finally got his chance to play in the top division, he won't want to join a Championship club.
This is an appalling post, totally contrary to the spirit of this whole thread. It actually makes sense and is within the bounds of reason!
I heard they'd offered cash plus chicken portions - Saints have a DVD to try and attract players, Blackburn have a secret spicy crumb coating.
I think Lambert will be very important to us as he is like having a pistol hidden in your sock...you never know when you might need him. Nige knows this. Selling Lambert would really make the fans turn.
Pistol in your sock? Blimey Fran, do you walk with a pronounced limp, pronounced L-I-M-P? That could lead to a strange case of, "I'm sorry, but your feet are killing me!"
I think we best keep Lambo, there is always the posibility that we might against all odds get awarded a penalty.
I think this is an occasion that Saints should come out in public and say no...letting Lambert go after all he's achieved would be shameful.
The Sun is reporting a £4 mill bid for Lambert. I would actually think that Saints should bite their hand off if they are asking that much but I can't see Lambert either being released or signing for a team that is still mid-crisis. Can't imagine Keen getting Blackburn up to the Premiership at the first attempt.
Rickie has to agree and why would he? This is a where Nicola's stance on not responding to speculation is annoying....Adkins come out and say it's rubbish. Lambert will get us those all important goals even if used as impact sub...the best finisher in our team.
£4m for a 31 year old who has had one season in the championship and one full 90 minutes of premier league football is very good money if you take things at face value But for our number 7 and best player for the last three years. Who sits one good season away from being one of the greatest to wear the red & white that bid is an insult. Lambert priceless, for everything else take the money from your tax repayments
As you say, somethings are priceless. I don't care what makes good business...keeping Rickie is good footballing sense. He will still fetch a decent return on his one million purchase price at the end of this season if he wants to move on.
We saw what happened when Lambo came on at City. The other players suddenly uped their games and believed we could score. He inspires confidence in our team. Priceless.
