    our defence is very good from what i've seen so far this season. just no penetration in the final third.

    Oh well, game over. Would've been happy with a point at the Britannia stadium had we won last week and had actually scored today. No potency up front what so ever.

    Wow, we're really missing Van Persie. Absolutely nothing up front at the moment, piss poor finishing and hardly any shots in the box. Midfield and defence were excellent and worked hard, but this attack is worryingly bad.

    Some of the worst shooting i've seen, was like watching 10 Clichys on the pitch.

    The best defensive performance we have put in against Stoke. Only Newcastle out of the top six won at the ground last season. It's never easy and now we have this horrible fixture out of the way. Also, last season we did not score in our first two league games as well. But this time at least the defence is much better.

    Actually I think only our final ball is lacking at the mo. Get that right, the rest will follow. Defensively solid today. Whenever a ball came near our penalty area I was comfortable.
