Wpl league positions 2012-13

OK - for those of you who did not already realise I am something of a numbers geek I did a bit of checking. Why I asked myself did Ak not fare so well - was it all the travelling - no I though t he is sunning himself on a Brazilian beach so it is something else. Well of course he is in the Southern Hemisphere so he got his numbers upside down and his homes were aways and vice versa - putting his predictions in backwards he would have more than doubled his score to 36. Just to verify I had it right I did the same to NZ and sure enough his reversed change his score from 21 to 32.

Lesson is when you are in the Southern Hemisphere enter your home scores as away and vice versa

 

Update after today's games - well done to BHD - the only one to correctly predict Watfrod - and be very scared everyone - Ak has returned from Brazil - OFH may have put his feet up but his predictions are sound !!

Leonardo, i think it's amazing that you even thought of investigating the upside down rule! I'm so obviously not a numbers person!

 

There HAD to be a reason for Ak's score and sure enough - he gets back near the top of the world and heads up the table
