Err no I think the players in my post are superior, and I actually think United have a class TEAM because SAF has made it better than the sum of all its parts, your actually squad on a per player basis on paper is shocking, you literally have no midfield and your defence is a mess
I see things completey different. Even on a player v player basis I think United are stronger in midfield ( maybe not central but it's close ) and definetly at the back.
and chelsea i think it dimatteo gets them playing well and keeps playing well they will be challenging this year..
I think if Chelsea are successful it will be despite Di Matteo. I like RDM and did when he played for Chelsea (Liked a lot of their players back then, Poyet, Wise, Gullit, Vialli, Zola....), but he's in way over his head. He has zero experience managing at the top level and his record at lower levels is not spectacular either. He got the job because of a flukey CL win which you can't really accredit to him because he barely changed anything. If Ancelotti and AVB couldn't force their mark on the team and got undermined constantly by player power/abromavich RDM has no chance. Terry and Lumplard are now untouchable again.
You lot have such a good squad you managed to get ****ing dominated by Fulham on your own turf. Lucky win.
Yeh...... did you have a defender who was actually a midfielder? and were you playing a shocking SPL side or a very good Premier League side who had just won 5-0 the game before?
Not a million miles away imo, although De Gea ahead of Reina as others have said. With De Gea you know exactly what you get - a quality shot stopper who is dodgy on crosses. Whereas with Reina you never know when he'll drop a cross, fumble a shot or otherwise **** up. Re: Lucas vs Carrick that for me would depend on the opposition. Lucas against top quality opponents who will flood and pressure the midfield, where you need a pure defensive mid like Lucas who will stymie the opposition. Carrick against teams who are more likely to sit back, defend and counter, where you need a midfielder who can look up and pick the pass to open up the midfield. Sub one for the other depending on how the game is going and if we need a late goal or to hold onto a slender lead.
