They have beaten relegation fodder, their defense has looked weak, and they got a cheap penalty and somehow you come up with that conclusion despite us only playing 1 game.

Pretty confident we'll be ahead of them, and that we will get at least 4 points from them in direct encounters.

They have lost their primary strength, defense, and they've also lost one of the best strikers the league has seen. Hazard type players will always look good on games where everything is going according to plan, but he won't be able to outdo all their losses in other departments.

 

I just feel that Chelsea have a better squad than us, plus they still haven't signed a striker (which it's safe to assume they will). RDM may not be a very good manager, but the personnel are excellent.

Welcome to my ignore list, you never have anything constructive to say, you just use personal attacks against all members, even members who support other teams and actually have a worthwhile opinion on us. If you know so much, why not offer suggestions as to how we can turn this ship around, and start winning silverware again.

 

Torres is back. Good to see a good player returning to from. I still think we're better than the Chavs though.

 

We'd lose some top players, granted, but we have enough talent coming through to easily win the championship. The 40 million parachute from the league would add to our surplus. The surplus would pay wages and stadium costs.
