The championship team and the championship manager just got given a lesson by one of the worse teams in the premiership.
Disagree. I think we may well spring a urprise against Man U and it isn't 'experience of the higher level that is necessary, it is ability to play at the highest level!!! From Adkins comments I suspect he is talking about Clyne not passing when he talks about 'dwelling on the ball' I suspect that Clyne will be spoken to, Fox will be dropped for Shaw and Lallana moved into the front 3 for Rodriguez. If we try and play like we did against Man C aginst Man U we will be slaughtered because Man U play a different kind of football. Is what we aspire to do. I also don't expect any players that are bought this week to be drafted in next week. Not Adkins style. They need a week to 'integrate'. Draw next week, draw at Arsenal then let the Prem season begin
Guly has played well in both games, but he and Clyne need to be on the same wavelength. Guly needs the ball infront of him running at speed then he would be a different player. He was clocked as the fastest player on the pitch against Man City. We need to clone Lallana, he is great on the wing where J rod is struggling(J Rod tracked back well today though) but in the the last 2 games Lallana have played really well in the middle but he needs to express himself more. Hoping Lee comes back from the Japanese squad fitter(with a few phine numbers too) and ready to play on Sunday as he is a better choice than J Rod
Are you actually a Saints supporter? I'm yet to see you post anything which suggests you support the team.
I don't get all the arguing between the negative and positive camp. That's the most childish thing! Rather than moan at someone for being negative. How about understand their point of view and then comment with your own counter argument. Some people are happy no matter what, others get annoyed by the smallest thing. We are all Saints fans and share the same passion and this is a forum for debate.
The anonymity brings out the worst in people and even nice forums go downhill given enough time. I wish fans would quit slagging each other off, though. Is it really necessary for people to have a pop at each other just because they don't like what someone else has said, whether 'happy clappy' or overly 'negative'? Not aimed at you particularly, Mikey, I'm just saying. Two games in, 0 points, bottom of the table, but there are 36 games left to go, so plenty of time to turn things round.
Christ alive , are you dark skinned 6ft 2" have a sweet left foot as well as a good right , love boxing , drinking and an eye for ladies (before I was married) ? If so phone 04747 2725322 and speak to a Phil Meecock .
Can you honestly see that , wishful thinking , I put money on smarter things than that , sure stranger things have happened but on todays performance no way , Fulham are far better than we are and it was passed around them or according to Sky Sports it was .
Lol. That's highly debatable and impossible to know because we will sign players. I think our squad is light but we're capable of winning games with this team. Against Man City we had the right tactics. Against Wigan we didn't. That's the main difference.
