    I'm hearing the funds have been freed up due to a 160m bid from Madrid for Shola :( . Not worth it imo.

    That deal has fallen through as Shola is sticking to the clause in his contract that states he MUST be allowed to play against the mackems twice per season. Madrid even applied to UEFA to apply for entry into the Premier League, but it was rejected.

    Yeah, it's a provisional transfer based on the fact that since Fletcher is such a good striker, Sunderland will end up in the Champions League next year, and possibly draw Madrid.
