Last week was truly a wake up call, one that we could be very thankful for in weeks and months ahead. I for one think it may of been a good result for QPR. b4 ye all start having a go i didnt want them to lose by 5 obviously but look at it another way..all over the summer TF MH PB AB have all be getting our praise and rightly so they are setting up a team and a club in which we can be proud of and others envious of. I think that the signings we have made are very good (i thought it b4 the swansea game and still think it bar green always had my doubts about him hope he proves me wrong.)
We have signed players of a certain age yes, but we need to have them at the club they have been there and seen it the likes of park nelsen green boswinga. the have the experience then along with some good players like diakite hoillet adel ali we have players who can learn from then. .yes the older players may be getting a one big payday but they are helping our young players along and keeping us in the PL. we could of buying maybe one or 2 players keep the wage bill down and get relegated. i know which one i would perfer.
before the swansea game some people had us for top 10 finish which in my eyes is a little off where we are. this season should be about getting to 40 points asap then trying to finish as high as possible i feel 12-16 would be a very good season. we lose one game and the manager needs to be sacked we are buying players that are too old we spend too much money all the doom and gloom. (i know not everyone feels that way but last sunday was pretty depressing here)
When we win today are we a top 10 side again this week or are we going to keep or aspirations in the real world.
For me i think we will win today but i would take a draw to get something on the board.
We have a board a team and a future that we have never had before so lets enjoy it we have waited long enough.
Lets try get behind the team win lose or draw and that includes green and look forward to a great season.
    Rant over

I think today will be very tough and we'll need to dig deep for a draw, but that would be an improvement followed, hopefully, by a confidence booster against Walsall. I just want to see an improved performance and no repeat of the 'giving up' when we went two down last week...

I would take a point..it will take time for the team to develop as a unit and a point at Carrow rd would be a step in the right direction..COYR'SSSSSSSSSSSSS

I think most of us are thinking exactly the same, it's going to be tough. I would normally feel reasonably confident of a narrow home victory mainly because that is what normally happens when we meet at CR, but today I am nowhere near that level of confidence. I have predicted 2-1 to City but more out of blind optimism than anything else.

Same as you guy, we want to see a better performance (certainly at the back) and some signs of real commitment if we fall behind. Even if we lose and play pretty well, I will accept it graciously but if the team make the same level of effort as they did last week, I will not be a happy bunny.

Our problem is that this is already a "must win" with City, Chelsea and Spuds to follow!!
I think, with history on your side, you'll just edge a very tight game!

I partly agree RC but a defeat would not strictly mean the end of life as we know it in the PL for either of us. Both managers are still busy in the transfer market and finally CH appears to be addressing the defence that we need so badly. Your next 3 games do look scary but look at last season and what happened in your last 6 home games! Who really thought you would win all of them against those teams? I didn't and thought you were doomed, such is football.

History is about the only thing we have to cling on to today, or at least that is how it feels. I have no expectations other than the team to give everything for the cause, that is least either set of should be asking for, although I accept as an away game it is a little tougher for you.

No of course it won't. But if we end up played 5 lost 5 with a horrendous goal difference, there may be no way back!!

As long as you are not bottom on Boxing day, history would suggest an escape it more than possible but I do not think you will need to worry about that. I am pretty sure QPR will be okay this season although perhaps not the comfortable mid-table I predicted a while ago.
