Don't worry, someone will be here soon with a basket of muffins, a board of rolls a basin of mince and 12 full Scottish Breakfasts.

    The obsession continues.

What was sneaky Petes motives for his begging letter then? And you ended up having to sell your best player! Wonder why? Lack of sales? No old firm income?...

Nah it wouldn't have been that! Listen to sad obsessed timmy, after all they did predict every single event in the Craig Whyte era.

Also, slaughtering ally for investing and helping out? They would have slaughtered him if he didn't.

As said before, everything's a negative, what a sad little existence.

Consensus is he was given the shares as a sweetener.

who'd have thunk it? Oldco rangers hero being used to suck stupid sevco fans into parting with their dosh.

I wonder is Chapper going to invest his money in this company when the company floats?

It will be interesting to see how they con people into investing after telling everyone the lie that the club and company are separate entities.

Why the **** would anyone invest in this company......unless they "forget" and start to pretend that they are investing in the new club.

    Hearsay against hearsay, epic argument.

I don't know and don't really care to be honest. I was only going by that op and certainly wouldn't grudge him it if it was gifted.

If the goal is to make money, then you would have to be mental to buy shares in a football club, but people do it to be part of the club etc. In saying that, not sure why George Soros bought 1.9% of Man Utd the other day though. I did double my money when I bought shares in Sunderland years ago.

Hate defending them but it is common for managers to get some shares in the club they manage?

Souness got a few when he was manager of Rangers,

Did O'Neil not get shares in Celtic?

Look down south and Arry rednap gets a % of every transfer fee going out the club or used to,

I get shares every year from the company I work for, a nice wee bonus when I cash them in.

The point I was making was that people have been at pains to (inaccurately) point out that there is a distinction between club and company. That has been the rock upon which the continuation of Rangers has been built.

The same people are now going to ask people to invest in "the club" by owning a bit of a company.

    It is a contradictory message.
