They taunted us about thinking we could get Johnson? Not now though.

They havent bothered to question our links with Defoe and Dempsey. Lol

I'd be surprised if you got Defoe, purely based on spurs situation. Someone put a post up the other day outlining the Johnson signing which made alot of sence when you looked at his options. If he wants to play football then Sunderland was his best choice. Very logical for him. With him being local as well you always had that on your side. I personally think that a fit Saha is a better signing for you guys than fletcher though.

Think Defoe will depend on spurs getting this willan guy.

Would not doubt ES or MON about getting anybody here now.

Which one of them said something about turning up for today's match in a Sunderland pub in his Newcastle shirt if we signed Johnson??

Just goes to show what Martin O'Neill is capable of

Yep, It was Sombero. I think you should hold him to it... would be interested to see if he would go through with it! Obviously it would be a laugh between mates, as he does seem like a decent skunk...

Lets think about this. Should we trust a manager who has succeeded at every club he has been and back his judgement on Fletcher ?....or....we take notice of jarramag. Tough one isn't it??

It's just my opinion mate. I've hardly slated fletcher. In fact I've praised the signing of Saha. Chill.

If we're not ruining the board with too many comments then we're conspicuous by our absence...

Howay lads, make your minds up!

I'll not lie, its tough watching you boys bring in 2 big money signings and just sitting twiddling our thumbs wondering if we'll strengthen...If the window closed tomorrow I'd be happy we kept everyone but I'd expect a new face in January!

Spot on mate. Fletcher will be a terrific signing for us and I've been singing his praises for months now with MonsMush.

I'll bring the shirt, pick you up, take you to the city centre this afternoon and also inform your closest of your sad demise. Lol

To be fair I said a year ago if you finished above us I'd run naked up Northumberland Street with an FTM tattoo on. However, **** that for a game of soldiers, I'm still young (ish) and have lots to live for. Lol

That would be me, but why let that get in the way of a good yarn.

Aye all of a sudden they're missing us! <laugh> It would seem we're only allowed on when they're on a high. We are not desperate for any strengthening. Maybe a centre back would be nice, Debuchy, Carroll but really we have a squad capable of top 7 again, any additions are just a bonus.

Both good signings as I've said previously. If we had needed a winger I'd have liked Johnson but Benni has the role he would want sewn up.

Its only the usual dickheads that havent posted. There are 3 or 4 decent mag posters and their input is not in question.

Havent seen QWOP's thoughts on here and he is usually the best of you all. Would be interested in his thoughts.
