The problem if we bought Wilems, we would still need cover for Evra. Wilems is even further behind Fabio and Fabio isn't ready to stand in for Evra yet, he's got the abilit but not the experience. I see this signing as a stop gap until Fabio matures as a player and is ready to start playing for us more regularly. Ofcourse, there's always the chance Buttner will flourish and make the position his own, in which case that could mean bad news for Fabio, but there's also the chance he'll be totally out of his depth too, so we'll have to see. They're the risks you make with any signing.
