    It said 'we are just hearing the news that Sunderland have confirmed the transfer of Adam Johnson from Manchester City' that's all I caught, obviously I have to listen online and it's a bit patchy at times.

    It didn't say the club had confirmed it...said that the club hadn't confirmed it but Radio ncle said they have their own source and it's def done deal...

    Would be foolish , IMO.

    ANnounce it tonight, put 4-5k on the gate, and have a mobbed club shop all morning pre-match.
