http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19368229 Manchester United summer transfers done - Sir Alex Ferguson Sir Alex Ferguson has said that striker Angelo Henriquez will be Manchester United's last summer signing. The Chilean 18-year-old follows striker Robin van Persie, midfielders Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell plus left-back Alexander Buttner to Old Trafford. Ferguson also said that the club are not closer to selling either, with Dimitar Berbatov linked with a move. "We definitely won't be buying anyone," Ferguson said. "There is no movement about anyone going the other way." Club record buy Berbatov has drawn interest from several European clubs since the £24m arrival of van Persie. So you have a few strikers then?
I think this young kid might get loaned back to the selling club but I'm not sure. I do however fully expect Berbs to go. RVP are not I'm disappointed that our central midfield hasn't been looked at again as Kagawa, as good as he looks, doesn't really seem to be a traditional central midfielder.
Patrice Evra's time is up and Johnie Evans needs replacing and I think Van Persie might upset the rhythm of the United set up. But whatever happens don't let Citeh put one over on you this season.Good Luck.
i wouldnt be surprised to see Berb leave towards or on deadline day, likewise wouldnt be too surprised if we did make a late transfer, though im not expecting one but the media comments may have been to reduce the number of transfer rumours and media attention. On the whole i think we have had a good summer of deals. on an asside with all the stwrong though rikers we now have does anyone else think that Macheda may be developed into a centre mid, not sure how he would do but has a decent physique and could be useful, may be horribly wrong though
In a word, no. Macheda falls into the not good enough category and is a million miles from being a centre mid. Like Alan Smith, only nowhere near as good.
