It was James Chester who mis-kicked the clearance. The only thing he did wrong in the match mind. In saying that the Blackburn goal should only have been a consolation goal though.
1/Koren 2/Koren 3/Koren No I didnt go but Koren is our best player. I see he features in everyone elses top 3.
I only get to about 1 game per season so not voting, listen to the others on tigersplayer.. BBC gave Nuno Gomes an "assist".. even if it was an attempted bicycle kick!
i have to have a giggle OLM. You beginning to sound like John Fenwick and his tirade on Peter Taylor....haha
Just because they played in the same position and seem so comparable, why did you think Bruce was better than Chester before the mistake? Don't get me wrong he was doing alright and he made one good tackle in the first half, but Chester was his usual classy self, awesome tackling and made their attackers look silly at one point when he coolly chested it and knocked it over their heads as they charged towards him. My votes: 1) Chester 2) Koren 3) Aluko Aluko would have been higher if he had at least one proper shot on the end of his runs. He looked great tonight but kept buggering up in front of goal. Koren is looking more like a proper captain every week, getting stuck in and covering every blade of grass, it seems that gone are the days when he used to mope on the wing for 20 minutes at a time. Chester was just quality. Though the goal happened too quickly for me to notice his missed header, so I'd maybe have to see that again.
maybe im just so used to it from chester it doesnt register as much, where as i wasnt sure about bruce and thought he was doing well until that point..
Sorry T_T, you were a bit late for the count up, I'll try and give a bit more notice of the closing time in future though
You could make it a general thing that the closing time is a certain time and day. For example for a saturday game you could close it Tuesday morning and for a weekday game you'd do it Friday morning. Or whatever, the days aren't that important, my point was simply that for people to know best you could make it a recurring thing.
Yep, I'm just trying different timings to see when it works, but I think 2/3 days is generally going to be enough time.
