Remember, this isn't just a dead ball on goal, this is also dead balls into the box, to threaten. So don't be silly and claim someone like Rooney should be in there.

This is about dead balls on goal and threatening balls into the box to create chances or cause problems ect.

It's got to be the Spanish waiter at Chelsea who brings in Torres's sweetmeats for his pre match meal.

should have put this in the premier league board instead of the Newcastle one. R.Taylor is awesome at free kicks though as is Baines. when was the last time Gerrard scored one? or Lampard?

Technically, the best for me and I'd have said this a year ago too, is Robin Van Persie.

Charlie Adam. His set pieces are worth £10m alone. <whistle>

Baines. Raylor's delivery from freekicks/corners when he's allowed to take them are generally ****.

I agree, while the rest of his game isn't the best, he can sure deliver a ball into the box (When he's not playing goalkeeper).

Whenever I watch Sunderland play, Larsson seems to have an awesome, awesome delivery on him.

Does Rory Delap count even though he uses his hands?

Still a dead ball I suppose <laugh> He hasn't been at all effective in the last season or so though, teams seemed to have figured out a system to nullify the threat.

He's good at firing one at goal, but in terms of delivering threatening balls and creating the chances, he doesn't really do It immensely

Gerrard isn't close to being the best corner/freekick taker in the PL.

He's definitely the best crosser of the ball but not off set pieces, just in general play.

I would go for Seb Larsson. With Van Persie and Baines that little bit behind him.

Gerrard does get some terrific curl and trajectory on his crosses. Shooting he's obviously very dangerous.

    Larsson is very good.

Giggs isn't bad either is he?

Arteta for me, never see that bloke take a bad corner, he always clears the first man unlike a lot of the above named players.

In terms of consistency from both direct free kicks and dead ball crosses, I voted Larsson.

<sorry> But thats' my honest view.
