I was doing back flips when Fletcher signed, i'll be doing cartwheels if AJ signs today as well. Better get that stretcher and the ice pack on stand-by. All of a suddent the future looks very bright indeed.
I feel like a bloody kid in a sweet shop at the moment, and won't let my 10 year old daughter watch her favourite kids TV whilst this is going on..
Cest you are normally reliable when you post an itk comment, if memory serves correctly you called O'Neill. I was refusing to believe this but I'm teetering now you bastard lol!
He is a well know lad who has links with the press and doesn't bullshit. He won't play tomorrow I don't think but would be amazing if they unveil both Fletcher and AJ before the game and Fletcher scores.
When I met MON at Histon and wished him good luck for the season, he said "We're gonna need it". His expression was gloomy and I feared the worst for this season. I think he should have more faith in himself and we should all be massively behind him. Can't wait to see what else he has up his sleeve!
We heard this morning that he was discussing terms at SOL so seems very likely He needs a move for himself and his England career.Hes not done himself justice at City and when he's played he's been very disappointing but perhaps he's been trying too hard rather than playing his natural game Sunderland should be the right club for him, hope it goes well
Or maybe he is just a brilliant poker player? You should never have doubted such a successful manager kidda. He hasn't come here to fail.
Taken from an interview today on Sky Sports News website. the signing of Fletcher from Wolves for a £12million fee. "At this minute I cannot furnish you with many more details" said O'Neill. "I was hoping that we might be able to do so, so if you allow me to be pretty hesitant on that one, I'll refrain because I really can't tell you anything on a serious note. "I'm still trying to improve the team, obviously. Like everything else we need some more help and we're trying to provide that and get that there before next Friday evening. "As good as they are, I don't think our players can do it on their own and the more help we can get there the better." I take that as though there are more to come.
Personally, I've never doubted him as a manager, but as you say, never play poker with him. You'll be going home in your socks!

Good post. He will get game time up here and he is too good a player to be warming the bench at 25 years old.
