Could it be one out, two in? http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/...s-on-japanese-duo-maya-yoshida-and-yuki-otsu/ One of them is even a central defender
Nah, Cha left as well. Lennon isn'y daft. If you lose two Koreans you just buy two Nips to replace them
I think there is no great mystery about what Neil Lennon is trying to do. Neil is trying to get Celtic to play attractive winning football within the budget limit available. If he thinks a striker would be a useful addition then he should get P. Lawwell to buy one or get one in on loan. I am sure he knows if we need a centre half just as well as any of us and if we do he will take appropiate steps to make this right. The main thing on Wednesday night after approximately 30 minutes Scot Brown took up a more defensive position in midfield and he and Ledley provided the protection to stop the Swedes running at and passing their way through the centre defence. When Wilson replaced the injured Ledley Mulgrew and Brown were even more effective and Mulgrew had even the time and luxury to move forward and assist the attack. Also in the second half Izzy put in a great defensive display, someone posted he was like a bomb scare but the stupidity of that view was evident by the fact that the poster did not know what a bomb scare was like. After such a good win I would have thought many posters would have looked for the positive but not on this forum. The funniest comment I came across was Watt got a good experience, on the football field I always rated scoring a goal as good experience, not running around for the last 5 or 10 mins hardly touching the ball. I expect Watt to score many goals and get good experiences tis season.
Lennon has said they won't be signing Otsu at the moment, but maybe one for the future. Most of these Asian lads are worth signing for 1-2mill just for the merchandising etc it brings in. I remember going into the ticket office when Ki just signed to get my da a ticket for the Dundee United game, and I was the only non-jap in a queue of about 20 folk. Almost asked for a Chicken Fried Rice when i got to the counter...
Hopefully none of the opposition will find Chinks in our defence. I also hear we are interested in signing a half Chinese Half Irish player. Paddy Fields.
