Yeah, that seems certain, all about the player now.

Agreeing a fee was always gonna be simple, considering an England player that we are the right move is a bit tougher, but the ambition shown in getting Fletch should help.

What we no for certain, is that AJ is up here, and has spoken to the club, no advance on that to now.

Seems crazy that the initial fee for AJ is £2million less than that of Fletch, and the 'final' figures are identical at £15million.

Excellent signing for you. I've been looking at your starting 11, and I rate it higher than Liverpool's.

I'd love it if you finished 8th above Liverpool...

... but remember you place is below us as usual <cool>

Deffo mate, and we know from a deluge of ex-players that MON is a pretty inspirational character.

    EVERYTHING crossed!

    Tash,

I don't think we're far off them, I'd prefer our projected midfield, but a fit Agger & Skertel is superb, as is Enrique, and Suarez is at times one of the worlds best.

It's close, very close, between us, them & Everton.

You shade us on strikers, as your midfield is exceptional.

If we get AJ, then i still want Olsson, Guidetti (what if fletch gets injured? Rely on Wickham, Ji, Saha?), and matty phillips. Get rid of Richo, Bramble, and Vaughn.

Agree about getting rid your last three.

But I think Saha and Ji can be very good for us.

We were never going to be relegation candidates whilst having the best manager in the league and a quite capable Premier league side.
The difference is with these signings we can take the next step and push on.

No matter how good your first XI admittedly does look, I wouldn't personally recommend playing with 10 men <whistle>

Just seen MON interviewed on SSN about Fletcher, then asked about Johnson and wouldn't be drawn, didn't deny so looks to be in progress and not just rumour
