theres a new series of Bottom coming soon as well as the impending new series of Red Dwarf! what should be next to be brought back?
The dangers of drugs, particularly Triple-sud's, Yellow Bentines and Clarky Cat and make sure you don't get triple-jacked over a steeplehammer and jessop jessop jessop jessop jessop...
Brass Eye clearly the best comedy ever produced, but I almost feel like it was TOO perfect first time round. Chris Morris still pops up here and there with new shows and films, but i think he considers Brass Eye finished. Genius it is, genius.
Love Thy Neighbour and Mind Your Language would be interesting today, what about Steptoe, Benny Hill or The Young Ones, I'm presuming it doesn't matter if the original actors are dead ?
I'd love to see the Day Today come back - the one that launched Brass Eye and Alan Partridge. It was wrong that that only got 6 episodes.
A classic Day Today sketch.
I saw an episode of it the other day and it seemed to be very similar indeed to The Day Todayin which Alan Partridge features as the sports presenter. I think the main news guy is the same person in both, so the key difference seems to be the presence or absence of AP. Both very good comedies anyway. Just noticed it's already been mentioned. Oh well.
