Jesus was more than likely a Buddhist, which is why all his teachings resemble buddhism so much, as for the white thing, that probably has more to do with the shroud of turin than anything else.
Dawkins argues that Buddhism is a form of atheism as it has no monotheistic head. Personally, I think it's for trendy wee ****s who refuse to believe that we're tiny specks of **** all as far as the universe is concerned. Consciousness is an evolutionary survival tool - organisms that are conscious are more likely to survive. (not tool as in deliberate - it came about, the conscious flourished etc)
